Born and bred in the North then matured in London. For 8 and a half years I worked at Academy Award-winning Grain Media becoming their in-house cinematographer and now I am a man and a camera for hire. Having learnt filmmaking from nearly every angle working on acclaimed documentaries I now specialises in beautiful, moving factual TV, documentary and branded content supported by a broad spectrum of filmmaking skills in both production and post-production.
I have DoP’d documentary TV series for the BBC, Netflix, Dave, Tencent and Al Jazeera as well as a large range of commercial projects for clients as diverse as HBO, GQ, First Direct, UNHCR, The National Theatre and The Guardian. Worked on 9 feature films and many, many shorts.
